UpStream is a place for kids in K – 6th grade to come each week to learn about God in a fun and creative way, build relationships with their small group leader and friends, and begin a partnership between parents and church as we continue to help kids become fully engaged followers of Jesus Christ. By the time a child completes the 6th grade, we want them to know:
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
UpStream takes place in the gymnasium. While your child is here, they will begin with activities in an aged-based small group. These groups then move to a large group area for an engaging time of high-energy worship, video, games, and a creative Bible story that brings the Bible to life for the child. The Biblical truths are presented in a way that kids can understand and remember as they also apply it to their everyday life situations.
At the end of large group, they return to their small group to continue diving into God’s word through Bible story review activities, application activities and prayer. At the conclusion of UpStream, children receive God time cards and fridge door cards so faith conversations can continue at home.
Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to the service.
